Thunder and lightning make any Halloween display more spooky. You can either make or buy a circuit to create this effect. I purchase a T&L effect that included a box to connect to your stereo and a CD with two tracks of thunder. One track is offset by a few seconds. You connect the device to your stereo and plug one speaker into the track that is delayed. The other speaker connection goes to the device that flashes the lights you connect to it. This first track creates the lightning. Then a second or two later the other track send the same signal to your speaker providing the thunder.
